During my year-long contract, I joined the design team supporting Pinterest Academy and strengthened it by hiring two designers and establishing clear, repeatable workflows across internal partners and external agencies. Together, we launched brand campaigns for Pinterest’s e-learning and certifications initiatives and rolled out a new business website that attracted thousands of users—driving more certifications and course completions. Throughout, we shaped content to both teach and inspire: showing creators and marketers how to drive shopping on Pinterest, reach their dream customers, and power up performance with AI.

Google + Co:Collective
While freelancing for Co:Collective, I conceptualized and translated product strategy into a deployable visual identity for Google Notes—an experiment in Search Labs for creators. I worked cross-functionally with Product, Brand, and PMM to explore and pitch multiple routes, leveraging existing Google brand elements for coherence. From this, we developed the shapes “nesting” concept—an extensible motif representing people connecting by sharing unique experiences to help others find what they’re searching for on Google. I delivered a systemized kit—foundations, components and patterns—with implementation guidance for marketing, and co-marketing, ensuring audience relevance and seamless integration across Google’s brand surfaces.

Riot Games
During my year long contract at Riot Games I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of gaming projects. Specifically, diving into newly develop skins from their League of Lengeds heroes and developing design systems, logos, symbols, colors schemes, patterns and other graphic elements which I would turned into design guidelines. Working closely with Riot Game’s internal design team, illustrators, writers and outside creative agencies we would take all these elements into an incredible engaging digital experience for fans around the world. May 2022 - July 2023

KANTATA is an industry cloud for professional services is purpose-built to help organizations achieve Dynamic Resource Optimization so that they can consistently deliver outstanding outcomes for their clients. This breakthrough, resource-centric approach enables operational excellence, predictable outcomes, and unlocks the workforce of the future. Because optimizing resources in real time in response to changing pressures is how scale happens. It’s where competitive advantage is realized, where profits are made.

Having recently merge with Kimble to further expand their professional services, they needed a rebrand that consolidated a joint vision with a purposeful, human and charismatic goal. Starting with a new all-caps strong wordmark and name, we took a closer look at the strong geometric shapes from which a set of shapes were developed. These shapes served as the DNA that connected to rest of the design system by communicating the constant trasnformation Kantata’s client face on a daily basis. An expanded color palette allows the brand to speak to different products in a warm and human tone, while the primary orange color reflects technology and confidence.

Casa Ome
When my wife and studio partner and I set out to build a small timber frame cottage/studio we didn’t know we were just gonna fall in love with timber framing. We found the process of picking the pine trees, milling them, and carving mortisses and tenons on them was a very stimulating experience. It brought us closer to the land. We found that Timber Framing was also a community effort, we had neighbors, friends and family members be part of this incredible experience. 

When we were creating a little brand for our build we thought why not incorporate an instructional/learning aspect to the brand by documenting our process and putting it out there. With that said, we designed a little streaming platform and social media content that has all sorts of resources that include instructional videos, explainers, articles, and podcasts.
